You are 100% Canadian! If you don’t absolutely love hockey, you at least know how how to play it and have sat through a game. You either know how to drive in the snow, or you get mad when people drive like idiots in the snow. The letter U is used in a lot of the words that you use. The people at Timmy’s know you’re order!!!
p.. –*Disclaimer:* I don’t really think that I ever had to walk home from school… even from the bus stop… in 60 cm of snow. That would have been a “snow day” and school would have been cancelled.–

A report out today finds that Canadians leave big `footprint’. The report notes:
bq. If everyone in the world enjoyed Canada’s standard of living, it would take four Earths to supply our needs and dispose of our waste.
Wow! I have long wondered about the designation of certain countries in the world as “developing”. If they are developing towards what “we” have, we have a huge problem. Maybe we ought to designate Canada as “over-developed.”
BTW, about the only consolation for Canadians is that Americans consume more.

[singlepic id=1 w=320 h=240 mode=watermark float=left] We’ve been getting dumped on all morning by this line of “lake effect” snow. Emily’s field trip was canceled, but school is still on. The winds have shifted now so we’re in the clear.
