bahula-bulletin: September 2012 update

T hey’re back in school! We had a hectic summer with several curveballs thrown at us. It is nice to have a measure of routine returning to life. A has changed schools for Grade 12, E returns for Grade 10, K, A, G and L are back in Grades 7, 4, 4, and 1 respectively. I thank God for the excellent educational opportunities each of my children have.

The highlight of our summer was a short-term missions trip to Trinidad with a team from Stoney Creek Baptist Church in London. My kids and I had a lot of fun introducing the team to the sights, sounds and tastes of a place we enjoyed so much. We worked in the VBS of Chaguanas Baptist Church. We were stretched by the opportunity of sharing the gospel with 267 children and teens through Bible stories, crafts, music, and puppetry. We praise God for 26 professions of faith and pray that discipleship will follow.

Please continue to pray for the Caribbean Theological Education Consortium. We have some exciting new initiatives being developed, but we also continue to encounter obstacles. Nonetheless, I believe that this effort is key in the development of sustainable, culturally-relevant, cost-effective theological education in the Caribbean.

Thanks for praying and for giving to sustain our ministry.

In Christ,
