bahula-bulletin: June 2011 update

F riends,

Thanks again for your continued prayers for our family. A fellow struggler recently wrote, “There is no road map for mourning.” We continue to face that reality day by day. Thanks for supporting us by your prayers.

“And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.” – Phil. 1:6

We would appreciate your prayers for the children as they wrap up the school year. Both A and E face final exams in June. E is excitedly anticipating Grade 8 graduation on June 24.

In May I was blessed to spend four days in Grand Rapids, Michigan at the offices of Horizon International Schools. They hosted a couple of members of ABWE’s International Theological Education team for a workshop on designing courses for better student outcomes. Understanding By Design is a methodology that is being deployed in many schools to improve the quality of learning. I realized I have some courses that need to be reworked before I teach them again!

God has answered your prayers about the consortium of schools in the Caribbean. I recently received word that the trustees of the third school have approved joining the consortium. There will be more meetings and work ahead as we put legs to this concept to improve theological education in the region.

Please keep praying.

In Christ,
